Refund Policy

We want every song to land well. This Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund and how to request one. It applies in addition to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence, which take precedence whenever they offer stronger protection.

1. How the purchase works

After you fill in the brief we generate free preview tracksfor you to listen to. You only pay once you decide to download the full version. This "preview first, pay later" model is intended to minimize the chance of a mismatch between your expectations and what the AI delivers.

2. EU / UK statutory withdrawal right (14-day cooling-off)

Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU (and the equivalent UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.

Because each song is unique digital content produced to your individual specifications and is delivered immediately after payment, by clicking the "Pay" button you give your express prior consent to immediate performance and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the final track is generated.

3. Goodwill & service-failure refunds (always available)

Regardless of §2 above, we will refund you in full in the following cases:

  • Technical failure — both preview variants failed to generate due to a fault on our side or our AI sub-processor, and we cannot deliver a working alternative within 48 hours.
  • Wrong delivery — the final file we delivered is corrupted, truncated, or does not match the variant you selected, and we cannot re-deliver within 48 hours.
  • Duplicate / accidental charge — you were charged twice or in error.
  • Unauthorized transaction — your card or account was used without your permission. Please notify us and FastSpring as soon as you become aware.

4. "Make it right" — one free regeneration

Even outside §3, if the final track simply did not land the way you hoped, write to us within 7 days of delivery and we will regenerate the song free of charge— typically with a refined brief or a different style. This is a goodwill remedy, not a legal entitlement; we reserve the right to limit it to one regeneration per order.

5. Cases where we will not refund

  • You changed your mind after the final song was generated (this is precluded by §2).
  • The recipient did not enjoy the song. Taste is subjective; we still offer §4 above.
  • You provided inaccurate or misleading brief details and the song reflects them faithfully.
  • You used the Service in breach of our Terms of Service (e.g. submitted prohibited content).

6. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] within 14 days of payment with:

  • your order ID or the email you used at checkout,
  • a short description of the issue, and
  • screenshots or audio samples where relevant.

We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 7 business days.

7. How refunds are processed

All payments are processed by FastSpring as our Merchant of Record (see Terms §5). Approved refunds are issued by FastSpring to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after we authorise them. Currency and exchange-rate fluctuations between the charge and the refund are out of our control.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most issues are resolved in hours by email; a chargeback typically takes weeks and may delay refunding you. We may suspend or terminate accounts that initiate fraudulent chargebacks.

9. Online Dispute Resolution (EU consumers)

The European Commission's ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also contact the consumer-protection authority in your country.
